Stereo vs Dual Mono Samples

Post by deminda »

I was exploring a KST file in PA manager. In Pa4x the drum samples were split to L & R. 5X has the ability to store as a single stereo sample. With all the problems the 5X is having I wonder whether having both dual mono & stereo samples in one instance is causing an issue? Any ideas

As concerned to imported drum samples , Pa5X supports both stereo pairing and real stereo samples with no issues.
The difference in real stereo samples is that they consume one note polyphony of 160 available and paired samples are consuming two !
Having both also is not an issue , but really silly to do so !
