Krome EX has SST technology?

Post by aniket_tigga »

Newer and higher end workstation like Nautilus and Kronos offers Smooth Sound Transition technology in which upon changing the sounds, the effects and sound does not die out, therefore not producing an abnormal jerky transitions i.e. keeps on playing unchanged. Does Krome EX have a similar feature? (Kross 2 does have a sound cut issue)

The Krome doesn't have smooth sound transitions. What you need are two separate Kromes :-) Or a whole bank of Kromes, like Yanni has.

On the Kronos and Nautilus, the Drum track and KARMA (Kronoos) / Arpeggiators (Nautilus) stop when a Program or Combi is changed, so at least that aspect of a sound does die out on those workstations.
