Kronos crashing

Post by jonsunter »

Hi, I have 2 Kronos's, a 73 and a 61. Just recently my 73 has started to crash while playing it. An error message comes up to the effect that there is a problem and to switch off and wait 10 seconds before rebooting. The last one said,'A problem has been detected, which may have been caused by cycling power too quickly. Please turn the Kronos off, wait for 10 seconds, then turn it back on'. It is starting to happen too frequently and with some gigs coming up, I am getting quite worried. has this happened to anyone else? Any solutions please. Cheers

P.S I bought them brand new about 7 years ago.

I've had it happen on occasion. Owners have suggested reseating the RAM, use a UPS power supply, update to the latest OS, etc. Some pretty good discussion about it in these threads:
