Links in posts not opening

Post by Giner »

Just been in the Pa5X section and trying to open a few links (YouTube, links to other posts) in Adam Whittle’s latest posts. None opens up, just get a blank screen on my ipad pro. Is this a known thing now? It’s never been a problem before.

I've tried one of the Adam Whittle links, and it works OK for me. Out of interest, have you tried copying the link and pasting it into a web browser instance?

I have noticed the general trend lately, that the content on various websites seems to be becoming much more browser-specific. Quite a few companies have lost business from me because of this.

Selecting the link and then "Open in New Tab" also works.

Also wanted to point out that you can "fix" search engine links by changing the "2" into a "3" in the broken link which search engines have yet to migrate new dns, from old crawler info... using lets say google search result in a "broken link", GOTO the address bar of your browser and

change this-

to this-

...korgforums.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=118584&sid=17440d81f751f7a418513cfc1f528ed9

and voila, the thread is "directly" available...
