Opening "lid" on Pa5x 88-key

Post by ejbleen »

How do I open the "lid" (or raise the console) on the Pa5x 88?

I've seen the (Eastern European?) video of a 76 being opened, but unfortunately it doesn't show what was done to enable this.

My 88 has the wooden panels at each end, which are each secured with seven screws. It looks as though removing the two rearmost screws would release the lid to raise on its hinge, but I'd like some guidance before I take out my screwdrivers ....

OK, let's try this. How do you lift the top open on any model of Pa5x?

Given the situation with LED buttons, what would be super nice is some sort of guide on how to disassemble and replace the buttons, in case we can source our own.

Yes indeed. Surely there's some sort of workshop manual for the Pa5x somewhere or another?

I've seen at least one site that sells parts for the Pa5x. Those aren't going to be very useful if potential customers don't know how to get inside it ....
