The file naming convention of the documents for the new Kronos seems curious e.g.

KRONOS_Op_Guide_E1.pdf
KRONOS_Param_Guide_E1.pdf
KRONOS_VNL_M1.pdf

Previously issued documents, for the previous Kronos versions, were successively named:
KRONOS_Op_Guide_E2 .. E10.pdf
KRONOS_Param_Guide_E2 .. E11.pdf
KRONOS_VNL_EFGSJ2 .. EFGSJ4.pdf

Now, how did you find that? Did you do a file compare, or how does one find changes best?

A side by side comparison of the most recent Kronos Operations Guide and Parameter Guide, with the previous versions, would suggest that there seems to be no notable difference in the Sequencer section.

You had me going for a moment. I was hoping that the Cue List (song chain) function was reinstated (from Triton series). Like Voip, I looked through the Parameter Guide and all of the functions seem the same as before.

It is a very impressive sequencer, so I can see why some existing capabilities might come off as fresh.
