New KK NEO program banks

Post by RC-IA »

Hi there,

I have updated my 2 program banks from for the original KingKorg to be loaded in NEO: VA patches sound the same, patches that used to be based on PCM or DWGS has been updated to use the new NEO's PCM or DWGS. I managed to have those patches sound very close if not identical.

Thanx for your interest

Richard

I can't understand why Korg removed the best feature that made this standard VA unique? The TUBE is GREAT!
Will never sell my orig. King Korg. Where can I get some good Oberheim emulations for it btw?
Korg M3 XP & Radias Card; Fantom G6; V-Synth, System-8; JD-XA; Kawai K5000 S; KingKORG; SY77; Casio MZ-X500; GW-8

Not enough space in the compact neo version i would say. While i did appreciate the tube on my ex original KK, i've read quite some people had to service this part. IMHO, quite easy to put a tube pedal or else right after main out if needed. What bother me about the neo, it the not so good keyboard, and that they take away some original dwgs and pcm. They have keep the old ones and put the new ones on top.
