That being said, for a synth with such depth and capability IMO it really needs a bigger keyboard with 61, or at the very least 49, keys, particularly for skilled keyboard players. I know, you can say well just get the module and use a full size keyboard MIDI controller with it. And if Korg never releases a larger keyboard version of the Multi/Poly, that’s what I will do. But it’s nice to have an all-in-one five octave keyboard synth where you don’t have to plug in an accessory controller to get the full range of keys. This is especially true if you are playing live on stage. Just my opinion.
Many people like to have a blend of several synths in the mix and I can understand that. I do that myself. But I most enjoy playing when I have one capable synth in front of me and I can focus on just tweaking and playing it alone. Maybe I’m old school.
