Hi,
I am working on some styles creations from the new Creator Bot.
It loads default GM sounds and like to change them to be more professional.
When I select a different sound from the mixer, I cannot preview this sound in my search to the correct sound.
I need to load a sound, start the style and wait until the sound is used.
Maybe, I can, but why can't I select a sound from the mixer and preview it by playing on the keyboard to investigate if this is the correct sound for me.

Because you must enter in Edit Style mode , there you can select any track without R tab active and preview any sound of any track.
Just click of name of sound in any track (middle right position) preview it and start Style to see it in action.
Hope this helps

Re: Style Edit - sound change preview
I think I understoood what you want, to preview sounds playing some notes before changing it in the style.
I believe you already know it, but It can be done in playing mode, mutting the other tracks and selecting sounds in R1 to compare, after you test it directly to the track and if result is not good, just select the style again and it backs to the original sound.
Although it is more correct to make all the sound adjustments in the recording mode (because in playing mode it will change the sound to all variations at once), I think it is ok to find suitable sounds while in playing mode and take note of them to make the final changes later in recording mode.
By the way, I wonder if while in recording mode is possible to go back to the initial version of the style loaded without having to restart recording mode. Sometimes I test many sounds and don't remember how the original one sounds...

Nope , he wants to play himself selected sound and not track events , both can be done only in Style edit.epereirajle wrote: ↑Mon Aug 11, 2025 11:20 am [but It can be done in playing mode, mutting the other tracks and selecting sounds in R1 to compare
In In Style Record mode , undo function can record many editing levels except mixer modifications.

Re: Style Edit - sound change preview
Yes!! Found it with your answer. Thank you! From the Style Edit - INT Clock - I see the sound that is used for example for the ACC1. I can while playing the style change the sound and even go to a mixer screen. Thanks!!!AntonySharmman wrote: ↑Mon Aug 11, 2025 9:48 amBecause you must enter in Edit Style mode , there you can select any track without R tab active and preview any sound of any track.
