No its true....

Its takes those oldskool 5.25 Floppy disks,so its compatible with your old Emu Emulator or Fairlight libraries!!

Everyone's bored these days of fast access Streaming from hard drives,so Casio decided to return to the Good old days!

I'm telling you this is the future!

Maybe it contains an ancient audio recording tape deck :-)

Actually, the Fairlight used 8" floppies.

Actually probably it contained much less.
On the old Commodore 64 (computer of the eighties) which used 5.25" disks, one disk could contain 664 blocks of 256 bytes -> about 150 KB (excluding some overhead).

By creating an extra notch you could use it on both sides resulting in 300 KB but you had to turn it around (as if it was a different floppy).

Note: at that time 150 KB was a lot ... it could hold several games or applications, MP3 and video did not exist then.

If there are any major releases from Roland/KORG/Yamaha/Kurzweil, they sure keep a tight lid on the news since nothing has leaked so far but vague rumors, some of which date back to previous NAMMs.

Agreed but only if its hardware. If Korg releases something like this only for iPad, alot of folks are gonna be mad.
Lets keep our fingers crossed and our wallets full, hehe.

Getting back to my previous point.... I'm working on this mid-tempo, off-the-scale groovy tune... holy crap, Trinity fits well in this... I have TR-rack in my keyboard rack and Trinity 61 in a flightcase but I just don't have the space to put it in my studio. If they don't introduce Trinity as a VST @NAMM, I'm buying another TR-rack.
