Re: Too 'Old' to read the Screen?
This is not a spam email - just a heads up for those like me who have sight problems.
After taking RESVERATROL for about 7 months my eyesight had improved!
I was able to read more test lines etc
Its supposed to help reduce or slow down retinal damage and may even repair it to some extent.
This stuff is available without prescription.
I am not spamming any product, I have no interest in gain from this.
Just a suggestion if you are having eye problems.

Despite mainstream press alleging resveratrol's anti-aging effects,[3] there is no accepted data to form a scientific basis for the application of these claims to mammals (see Life-Extension section below). There are also a number of potential dangers posed by resveratrol [4][5] (see sections: Adverse Effects and Unknowns and Possible Carcinogenicity).
Anyway, thanks for the advice but I fear we are straying 'off-topic' again

I am now 50 and year I can't see very well up close.
The worst of the lot is the Korg microX, the red on black is extremely hard to focus on. (I have no ideal what's on the display, I have to select programs/combi's by ear)
The Motif XS color scheme was poor, while the Motif XF, (with Yellow) font is pretty good.
It's not always the font size, but the color scheme, that make's all the difference.
I have no problems with the Fantom G or M3
Of course the display on the Roland SH-01 Gaia is totally unreadable, opps, it doesn't have a display.
And on a last note, the display on my Radia Keyboard has gone on the blink, or should I say, off the blink. It's blank! None Functioning.

Are you aware, that in the Motif global mode, are a number of different color schemes for the interface? You can make the XF look like the XS, for example. Not sure the other way around, but there are several different color schemes.JPWC wrote:The Motif XS color scheme was poor, while the Motif XF, (with Yellow) font is pretty good.

I've still got a few years left before 50, but my eyes have started to slip a little when it comes to seeing things up close and I usually keep a store-bought pair of 1.25/1.50 reading glasses around. I worked on my Kronos for about 4 hours last night and went for my glasses for the last hour. I could see the screen pretty well without them, but I think it was easier with them. I can see myself using the computer editor when it's available rather than hunching over the touch screen.
Speaking of the touch screen, it takes some getting used to. I still had one stylus left from my Triton/M3 days so I went back and forth between my finger and the stylus all night. I think I prefer my finger over the stylus. It seemed like there were instances where I could get my finger to work but not the stylus (which wasn't true the other way around). Odd.
p.s. yes, I calibrated the screen!

Serial number 000239 reporting in at 45. The age demographics so far are quite telling. I registered my Kronos with Korg, and they gathered a considerable amount of marketing research on the form, so I would not be surprised if they know the demographics quite well.
