That can't be right! Everybody knows that a singer absolutely has to show up just before the gig starts, can't move any equipment, spend the break telling everybody how much the band needs them, can't help load out because they just have so much to do and need their rest so they can sing and put on a show properly!

Besides, EVERYBODY KNOWS that it is always up to the keyboard player to supply the P.A., have a truck, move the gear both in and out, supply cables and mics for everybody including spare cables in case the singer goes all Daltry and breaks one, and have extra guitar picks and strings just in case, and say out of the spotlight and hide in the corner during the show! Oh yeah, and not play too loud because the singer can't work to hard or he might strain his voice.

Sorry.

Was that my outside voice again?

If you are using the same Combi with the same transpositions on a regular basis, why not create a Combi with the transpositions dialed in, Save it with a descriptive name and put it in a Set List Slot with a descriptive name and/or notes?

Don't ever suggest they buy their own wireless mic ("they're like a thousand bucks! I'm not getting that!") either. Thankfully not all of them are like that, but it can get pretty aggravating sometimes!

I used to play in a band that had 2 lead vocalists. Male and female. Sometimes it was like a bad movie the Clash of the Ego Titans! Was a good band but, wow! It's funny, I usually don't have as many problems with singers who play instruments. It's usually the ones who don't.
