Some people are so far up their ass that they would be surprised to know that not everybody lives in america. Most countrys didn't even received their kronos yet.

Nice review. You make some great observations and points. Appreciate you taking the time. Its the best time make a review....when your experience is fresh and you are inspired by it!
Madbeatzyo111, RonF and everyone else who have responded in a positive way to my review, thank you for your kind words and encouragement. All of us are here to help each other learn about and appreciate the Kronos and all those other fantastic Korg instruments out there as well as instruments from the other manufacturers.
I simply couldn't wait to get home and post my review and opinions of this new marvel of synthesiser/workstation technology. I seriously hope that Korg doesn't simply ditch this fantastic instrument for the 'next big thing' in 2013 like so often happens. The M3 had a long life as Korg's premier 'more affordable' workstation and got the treatment that the Oasys should have also received when it was current regarding those great new sequencer features.
Now I hope that Korg support the Kronos as their premier workstation for a number of years until it absolutely must be upgraded with the next best thing. I can't emphasise enough how Korg reps should be listening and taking note of what Kronos users are requesting for the next big OS update. Version 1.5 is already a great step in the right direction. My big requests are adding the M3 Xpanded's sequencer features, better guitar sounds (a new EXI dedicated to the fretted fraternity), high quality real time 'elastic pitch and time' features to the sequencer to allow audio to follow midi like in all of today's software based DAWs, better use of text on the LCD (note to Korg- larger text please?).
However, the Kronos offers more than any other comparable workstation out there. After playing the Kronos this week, I simply can't look at my Kurzweil PC361 with it's 3 synthesis methods the same way. Whilst it has some truly killer sounds in the piano, EP, organ, strings, orchestral and synth department and VAST is a very powerful synthesis system, the small 1990s LCD is a big turn off to programming and no sampling on an instrument of this price and class is totally unacceptable (thankfully I bought mine at a good price off Ebay 2nd hand!:)
The Kurzweil does sound 'different' to the Korg but I don't see the point in holding on to it if I get a Kronos. I think the Kronos is a big step up from the PC3 in many ways and Kurzweil, Roland and Yamaha are really going to have to release something truly awesome to get me as excited as I am over the Kronos since playing it a few days ago.
For some reason, it's always Korg that gives me severe pangs of TEKNOLUST every few years. It started with the M1 way back in 1988, then the T Series in 1990 when I bought my T3EX, the Wavestation AD in 1991, I nearly wet myself the 1st time I played a Trinity in 1995 and then a Z1 in 1997 followed by the Triton in 1999. Then Korg didn't excite me much with their new offerings until this year with the Kronos (of course the Oasys was way too expensive for me to get excited over!).
If Korg support the Kronos properly with good OS upgrades and sound expansions, I think that that Kronos sales will even top the massive sales of the M1 (the M1 is the biggest selling synth to date with over 250,000 units being sold between 1988-1993).
