The weakest one of the lot (imho) was the Avalon.
The rest were just <dribble>
Had the LA4 knocking 40db off one track..... the only way I knew was that the meters said so (and yes, it was inserted into the mix!)
Awesome.
BUT they did have an Oasys88 in the programming room....... going through a Sony Oxford...... not a Mackie..... a bl00dy Oxford!!

Great tune made - just waiting for some authorisation as the copyright needs to be sorted
Console is worth roughly £300k - there's only 50-odd in the world!
Just one of the EQs (for those who don't "know" - EQ is a "bass, mid & treble adjuster") - a GML 8200, is £4500....
Then for other kit the prices just go up and up (along with the exclusivity and rarity).....
I gave up buying HiFi kit once I started working in studios - it's a pointless pursuit that will not be caught.
Where most audiophiles get caught out is that they can afford the toys, but not the £100ks to sort the acoustics in the room!!
yes, the volume goes to "11" - SSL loves Spinal Tap!!

Rather large monitors...... about 8ft tall. Yes 12" subs underneath (they're on other surfaces too!
)

And shiny lights.

That'll be the Oxford then.....

And a rather "in-situ-grande" Oasys....

Dan
ps I've got over 60 gig of video footage to look at too

And another famous person on the list of 'who uses Korg'.

Developer of the free PCG file managing application for most Korg workstations: PCG Tools, see https://www.kronoshaven.com/pcgtools/

Not in the main room.
The mains are:-
Exigy MHS2/S215B
Mackie HRs (which were quite good!)
And the others that I really liked were the ADM monitors...
Sound was rather nice - as to be expected

Scooby: I personally love the pics but the thing that really gets me is that Dan and Rich from Korg are diggin' on it!
I can't wait to hear the production that comes out of these sessions! Thanks again for sharing and keep the pics coming!
