I don't really understand your attitude on this my friend ...
Moderators would not resolve members questions of deep architecture of sound engine , only experts & power users with deep
knowledge like Qui , so listen to them when they show you the way with valuable information that KorgPa do not provide you !

I'm always protesting when someone misleading forum users with inaccurate information and I'm in position to know of whatever
deeper engine information I provide here ...
In general you are right...

Altough some very intelligent non power users might shine their lights from a different direction sometimes and are able to teach those power users something new..

Being a very experienced power user does not mean you are right always and ever... just most of the time..

Basically communication (as thats what we do on these forums) starts with listening and being respectful to others in your comments... But also with being open minded ...

My intention is to help users in deeper information of engine with not my side of experienced user/developer but in deeper
architecture and hidden contents as an electric engineer with a further access in source code.

If any info is not clear you can always request further details since here there is no matter of wrong or right , only knowledge
matters and not opinions or speculations ...

If with just providing my knowledge upset some of you , I can easily stop it right now ...

I'm more concerned when someone abuses the forum to troll to promote competing brands and lies quietly in the process. Are you also concerned about your own efforts to tell others how to behave?

I think it would be safe to say...

You might be better placed letting the Moderators Police the forum rather than your good self, if you have any concerns regarding any activity not to your liking, then a PM (Private Message) to a moderator would be the logical approach to resolve any concerns/issues on this forum within these threads...

As a side note.. l can confirm after some quite heavy abuse I received recently in the way of multiple PM over the Pa5X on this forum and after reporting this particular issue to the Moderators they proceed to be very efficient at resolving this problem...

Worth some consideration, hope this helps :)

Just to take the discussion back to where it belongs (on topic)

This is a video by Leigh Wilbraham on the Genos, that shows how the (my) workflow on a Genos is totaly different then that on a Pa4x or 5x. If you try to use the Genos in the same way as a Pa4x, you will indeed be dissapointed.

https://youtu.be/U-oXtoU4wcw

By the way, this is a feature i would love to see Korg add to the pa5x.. the pads are great for features like this…
Korg Kronos 2/88 , Genos, Mainstage3 +VSTsu, ipad pro, GSi Gemini, Roland Integra 7, Jupiter Xm, Yamaha motif XS rack, Ketron SD90.

Thanks for sharing this video.
Indeed very interesting feature for creating new arrangement.
I don't have Genos but I have one of the PSR series, I should try it if I can do the same arrangement by using the Registration.

I totally agree, it would be fantastic when they decide to use the 16 pads as 16 pad registration slots in the same way as the Genos does with the registration buttons.

This may happen because at this development stage of matrix isn't look impressive. It is like unfinished feature.
I would expect rather 8 slots for each style player with registration, especially when you use both players at the same time.

Hi, for matrix pads?

I’d like a “sync start “for the 4 pads (like Yamaha has ) ie you can press on the ones you want , and they don’t start playing till the style starts playing.
best wishes

So its an unfinished feature in an unfinished keyboard?

Its like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are gonna get..

All we can do is hope for the best and hope Korg is listening in on discussions like this. I think they still live in the 20th century, as in the 21st century not communicating at all is the worst thing you can do..

Would work well as an option for the assignable buttons under the sliders…

Your suggestion is even better as registration.
