Tuesday for me too, balance paid today!panrixx wrote:Congrats. I should be close behind you with delivery probably Tuesday. I asked them not to send it out today as I'd prefer it not to be sitting in some depot over the weekend.Spann wrote:Surprised no-one else has posted today so I thought I might as well.
My dealer phoned to say they have my 88 - hopefully I'll get it tomorrow.
It feels like Christmas Eve.

Got an email from Andertons today saying they had theirs in with spares to go around..
Unfortunately nothing from Bonners yet, who my order is with... Annoyingly Andertons are only 10 miles away whereas Bonners is 100 and I can only collect it on a Weekend so looks like I'm waiting till next Sat rather than tomorrow.
I'm sure the wait will definitely be worth it though

Bonners confirmed my K88 has arrived. Sending out Monday for delivery Tuesday. Suits me as I'd rather it not sit under a pile of other stuff in some couriers depot over the weekend.
Rhodes 73 Mk1; Kronos 88; Synthex; Electribe EMX-1; Motif XS Rack; Yamaha DX7IIFD; Yamaha MM8; Roland Alpha Juno-2; Roland JV-2080; Tascam FW-1884.
Hmmm... might give em a bell in the morning then, would be nice to take a trip tomorrow to pick it uppanrixx wrote:Bonners confirmed my K88 has arrived. Sending out Monday for delivery Tuesday. Suits me as I'd rather it not sit under a pile of other stuff in some couriers depot over the weekend.

Yes. I'm going down on Monday morning as Bonners gave me a good trade-in on my Triton and I need to take it into the shop. I had a few palpatations on Friday evening when I'd heard nothing from Bonners (due to O2) and seeing a K73 available at Andertons (only 25 minutes away)
As I have to be Dad's Taxi at various times over the week end and I want time to myself to set up etc. I decided to wait until Monday to go down. Then I'll see if the wife notices the difference between a Triton and a Kronos. "They're both Blue and the keys are black and white dear! No its not got shorter all of a sudden (the T.Ex is an Ex88 ) etc. etc...."

Asked to cancel but they promised it will be in by the end of the month so will give them the 2 weeks grace. Both Prodution room and Andertons have them in stock and have had them in twice previously since I ordered begining of July at Bonners.

sorry to hear that - must be incredibly frustrating for you.
After a 5 hour round trip down to the south coast I am now set up and it sounds just WOARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
It will be worth the wait!

Na didn't ask, at first they just said "no sorry yours wasn't on that shipment and we dont know when the next one will be", it was only after I asked them to cancel it that they put me on hold and came back to say it would arrive in 2 weeks.panrixx wrote:Rocus
Sorry to hear that, I feel your pain. Do you know which number you were on the original list and how many K61s were on this first delivery.

When I asked this morning they said that they were still short of their pre-orders. Bizarre then that other shops (e.g. Andertons and HTFR) have had them on general sale = so those shops presumably got more than their pre-orders. Would have been good of Korg UK to prioritise pre-orders and Air Freight them over (saving a good few weeks)!

I checked some sites in the Netherlands and no one have them in stock (at least not shown on the web site). Also bigger European stores like Thomann has not listed it.
