If you refer to the V2 version of the Preload.PCG, then it will overwrite the factory organ patches.runningman67 wrote:Still not updated? will I lose some of my current sounds of are they placed automatically on empty banks?
To be sure not to overwrite any of your own patches, it's best to follow this procedure:
1. Go to the Disk Load page.
2. Open the FACTORY_V2 folder.
3. Select the PRELOAD_V2.PCG file.
4. Press the Open button. Folders appear for Set Lists, Programs, Combis, etc. You are now looking inside the PCG file.
5. Select the Program folder.
6. Press the Open button. Folders now appear for each of the Program banks.
7. Select Bank I-A.
8. Press the Load button. A dialog will appear, showing that the default load location is Bank I-A (the same as the selected data). In this case, leave this set at the default.
9. Press OK. The Programs will be loaded in to Bank I-A.
10. Repeat steps 7-9 for Bank U-C. Now, all of the new CX-3 Programs are loaded.
