When I say "Lyrics" tab, I mean just a scratch pad for lyrics/chords/special notes of whatever you need.michelkeijzers wrote: I think a "Lyrics" Tab is a GREAT idea!
I don't need a lyrics, but a chords list would be nice ... clicking on the text to get a bigger font (using complete display) would be nice.

I said it before, 10 pages or so, but I'll say it once more.. A simple playback engine for user samples which can be assigned to the pads would be awesome. It's quite a hassle to import samples, create a multisample, save as program and use it in a combi and assign it to the pads. As far as I found this is the only way to do this.
Say, there's a dedicated folder on the SSD which contains the user samples you want to use in a performance. It would be great to assign those samples directly to the pads, so they can be streamed (I know, not supported yet, right?) directly from the SSD when pressing the dedicated pad.
Only thing you'd have to do, for each combi, is to set and save the right (user)sample to the right pad, so the right sample plays back when triggering.
This would make performing much easier IMHO..

What do you mean by 'external control surface setups'?Kronik wrote:It would be nice to be able to "name" external control surface setups instead of having to remember a number...
Now then, where's that set up for Oddity... 012? No... 023? No... 042? etc.

You mean something you play yourself or some kind of 'demo' ? The latter would be more or less easily possible (but not right after the start).lordofscones wrote:I wish the kronos would output some kind of tone the instant it turns on. At least that 2 min wait while the OS and samples load could be spent productively...and by tone I mean some simple noise from hardware...nothing fancy.

The knobs/switches/sliders on the Kronos can send out MIDI CC's to external equipment/VST's etc. You can create 128 setups, but you can only recall them by the number (001-128), you can't name them to something sensible, which is a great shame, as I seem to end up with yellow posi-it notes all over my desk to help me remember what setup number matches up to a particular VST etc.michelkeijzers wrote:

Maybe it is only a 'bad' solution, but when you use set lists you can use that post it info for that info?Kronik wrote:The knobs/switches/sliders on the Kronos can send out MIDI CC's to external equipment/VST's etc. You can create 128 setups, but you can only recall them by the number (001-128), you can't name them to something sensible, which is a great shame, as I seem to end up with yellow posi-it notes all over my desk to help me remember what setup number matches up to a particular VST etc.michelkeijzers wrote:

Sax modelling..
I've never heard a keyboard come close to VL modeled sax sound in my Yamaha EX5. Everyone I play with notices. A good sample isn't enough. It must be playable and the vibrato must be convincing. I will attempt to sample it with and without attack, and with and without vibrato and see if I can come up with a patch, but I doubt it will be as good.
Again, I have to add one more item to the wish list...
The assignment of the external foot switches / pedals should be changeable per program / combi (maybe with the option to use a global setting, like with the audio inputs).
For some songs it would be nice to tap the tempo, for other programs I need a KARMA switch on the floor, or the possibility to send a "program up" oder "down".
I know that in many cases MIDI CCs would be a solution, but not for all (like tap tempo). Things like "program up" in a verse combi and "program down" in the adjacent chorus combi (to switch back and forth with the same FS) are also difficult to impossible using MIDI CCs.
