I'm glad you're making use of those breath controller programs. Use them as templates for any other sound you might want controlled by BC. Just replace the multisample. They should work quite well with a single multisample as the volume and filter are programmed to be controlled by BC not keyboard velocity. But for some things, velocity switching can work in addition to the breath controller.

I am amazed by how the guy in this video manages to play with his breath controllers. Recommended!

Thanks Carlotta,
I'm working with the TEC directly into the Kronos, but I don't have the control that he gets using Kontakt.

Is that because the Kronos is not capable of getting/utilizing all of the data it is sending? Or is it because the Kontakt instruments have been tweaked for this kind of CC control? (Haven't ordered min yet)

I don't think it has got anything to do with software/hardware. It's just that the guy has amazing technique and control using breath controllers.

A new breath controller has been recently launched on the market. This is made in Germany and looks good if a tad overpriced (890 Euro...) to me:

Here it is: http://www.synthtopia.com/content/2014/ ... th-station

Interesting looking - would like to see it in action.

Setting up Tecontrol breath controller

Any suggestions to set up Tecontrol breath controller would be appreciated.

I have Kevin's wonderful templates installed. Do I have to reboot when I insert controller? I have the dual USB midi controller and am just blowing into the tube with a tip, but no sound.

I got it for pitch bend but read on their site it only bends up. Any work around for this too would be great!

Should be pretty straight forward. Plug into either USB port in the back of the Kronos. Whatever you have the -Y on the regular joystick set up to control will be done with the breath controller.

Thank you and I am wondering where to set that? Somewhere in Global or in the program for instance?

There is not just one place where you set what -Y joystick does; you can have it affect multiple parameters simultaneously. If you want it to control amplitude, you would find the section in amplitude that would work; if you want it to open the filter, add vibrato, etc, you would go to those sections of the program mode and edit it there.

Another breath controller user. He does flutter tonguing (around 1:30 in the video), amazing.

Thanks, I discovered a kink in the tube and cutting this off allows me to change amplitude on most instruments (EXCEPT for Eric's programs for the BC), but changing joystick Y in the global controller tab does not seem to have an effect.

Sorry, I am still not finding where to change controllers for amplitude either in the manual or the tabs under the program's amp/eq tab?

Also are you using the ribbon you list to do both up and down pitch bend, as this was the main thing I wanted to do? BTW The breath controller is plugged into the computer's USB port and my Kronos simultaneously.
