I hope Korg is keeping track of these posts as well. I personally will not be doing business with KARO now or in the future and I hope Korg feels the same way. I find this despicable.

Sorry to you Sharp and Cello that this had to happen.

This is really confusing.

Why would a company, who by all accounts have a solid, quality product, feel the need to be so evasive and shady in their forum dealings?

Totally unnecessarily and these last few posts really do make them look bad!

Because every company, in the synth market a least, is dealing like that...until the product is out...

This is way beyond what I've seen other companies doing.

I did not agree with Cello that their original PR material was dishonest. It was perhaps overly flamboyantly or maybe carelessly worded, but like you say, most companies exaggerate in their PR text.

But multiple forum accounts, lying about who you are, and editing posts to cover your tracks? That's a whole different level of "wtf?"

I am happy you ask! I read that karo members could be banned! Can someone explain me what is a karo member?

------------------

I'm not an employee of karo, karo is only two people: kurt and oliver. I just made a bank and demo their other banks. And i am happy i did, and i think those two guys are nice and professionnal. I don't know who is peter, sowi, whatever, and i think what he said is not under karo's control. This guy made banks for them too and i think he just took too seriously all the easy bashing on karo by some frustrated people. When you hard worked, sometimes you can not admit that some people want to destroy all you made, but you have told this with its real and original member name, and not create other account, for sure. I think kurt tried to defend him before he realised it was undefendable.

----------------
From my point of view there is nothing wrong with what karo a saying on their web site: the samples for KSL they made a year ago can have been made for kronos too, why not? That's the starting point of all this stupid thread.

It's like some of you would attack korg for 9 new engines in the kronos while they made like oasys has never existed..why don't you?

More, it's easy to attack some people when you know their full names, while you are behing just a nickname.....

I am fully agreed with you. Please be aware that, it seems, that only that guy peter, it seems, have others account, not karo REAL members, kurt and oliver.

Today Peter Jung has requested a copy of PCG tools which I already sent earlier (today), before reading this.

My app will still be free for anybody. However, the source code will not be freely published from now because reading a thread like this makes me wondering if a company would use the source code of my app to sell or use in their own code.

However, if people are really interested in the code and will do something with it positively and free I'm willingly to pass it, but only under certain conditions.

Of course anybody interesting in the app I will gladly send it (including future updates) for free.

In Kurt's last post he stated that Peter had nothing to do with Karo and that he had never even heard if him. Then he quickly changes his post to say that Peter has worked with him and he has known him for 25 years. He even accused Sharp if lying by writing "all lies". But again, that was removed from his post.

This is beyond sneaky.

I know this. Thanx. If someone you like since 25 years made a mistake, what would you do, at first ? I, at first, would defend him , maybe, before i realised i should have not........and i would protect my work. maybe, you should give time to kurt, karo, to see what they are saying, on this, when the heat will be down....

I'm talking on my own, what i say is not under control of karo.

I will change my mind on this if you prove me that kurt and oliver have created others accounts too and use it. Until this, i won't feel like i've been fooled too.

I might understand you, but i don't see the point for someone to steal someone else to create an app, free or not, while korg is about to launch its own free one.

Absolutely I would defend them.

Which is why I found it so bizarre when Kurt denied that he knew him.

Which tells me that he knew all of this was going on and maybe had a hand in it. I will not buy anything that supports KARO in anyway and will point others to this thread if asked about them.

The problem that arises now is that you start smelling like them too.
