howdy all, finally got my kaossilator in the mail and I'm having a hard time connecting it to my KP3. I've tried the stereo line out on the Kaossilator to the KP3, but it doesn't seem to be hearing anything.
Also, I can't seem to get my laptop to connect to either the KP3 or the KO (kaossilator) using a USB to MIDI connection so... any ideas or help would be useful. I've got to leave for work soon but I'll be sure to scour the message board here for more info I didn't know.
If there are any good instructional videos I should check out, please feel free to link.
Here's a pic of my setup

edit: After reading through the forum, I found the solution to one of my problems.
The problem was that the kaossilator wouldn't be heard through the KP3... it was because on the back of my KP3 there was a switch that said "SEND/DIRECT" and I had it on send. Putting it on direct fixed it immediately. I'm now on my journey to figure out how to make all my devices run on the same BPM automatically

Not knowing exactly what you are trying to sync with clock(DAW etc),
My advice is with these types of gear sometimes "syncing by ear" is the way to go and not worry too much about the official sync signals.
With the KO and KP I would try no sync signal/no midi cable or USB and see how they lock then,in real time. They may actually be better..
Was my experiance with two KP3s so may help you.
Also easy to spend so much time worrying about the tech side, that it gets in the way of the fun/jam side.
