Nanopad2 + Kronos2 61 Mounting?

Post by charic »

How have people mounted theirs? I've tried to find a way to fit it on the top but no matter how I orient it, it overlaps.

I'm considering mounting it on the side of the keyboard but there's two possible drawbacks..

1. I won't be able to see it
2. I'm worried that an adhesive velcro or something will stain the wood

I've been using nanopad for stabs and effects live for a while now. Works perfect for simple brass sections lines btw. I use velcro on the right hand side of the screen, just above the buttons.

I'm intending to use a long USB cable and give it to one of the singers to add some effects here and there so I have my hands free for other things to play.

Velcro on a beatifull shining Kronos?
Sounds like Sacrilage to me.

I put some anti slip rubber under the nanopad and it stays at its spot quite well.. dont even have to glue it..

I use rubberized shelf liner for a non-slip surface.

You can either drape a piece over the back edge of the Kronos, or apply it to the base of the nanopad [or other device you want to be handy, on top of your board], or BOTH !!

Works really well, never leaves a mark.

My velcro works great - In fact, I don't have to even take it off when I put the Kronos in the case at the end of the gig.
