RESOURCE: Pitch-knob transposition exact values for notes.

Post by sauce »

I worked out exact values for note transposition using the Pitch knob for the Electribe and Sampler. Here is a very short video about it. The perimeter guide featuring the actual values is in the video description.

Dude...This is really useful! Great job!

I'm going to test this out on my set up.

The octave setting change is the most valuable to me.

The number one gripe I have for the Electribe is how the pitch knob is not affected by Key and Scale mode. It is frustrating as hell. There are many users that are happy about this...I for one am not. While others have long complained about getting only 4 bars, I have gone on and on about the pitch knob, I hate the fact that Glide is not the primary function and have wished it was and the pitch be a shift function...I never use the pitch edit, I could never trust it!

I'll give your study a try. I'll see if the pitch is consistent on just the octave shifts, which is all I really want:

C4 : 48
C2 : -48

Thanks for taking the time!
