I ordered some contact mics so I could experiment with the ES2 sync function. It works surprisingly well.

sauce, this was a very clever idea you had and I'm gonna try it with some friends soon.
I'm actually more excited about the possibility of controlling the rhythm of the entire sequencer with sync audio input! I had no clue that it would just wait for each pulse before moving to the next beat. Technically I could just feed any sound into that jack (like a snare sample, for example) to achieve a similar effect. This could be a really cool way to create slow, ambient intros for a track.

Thanks everyone! I have been having some real fun with this. =)
Yes it does, and not only that, but if you have synth notes from the included waveforms or looped samples it just drones indefinitely until the next pulse. I can play my electric guitar and solo over top dubstep "power chord" drops that I trigger with a foot switch. So powerful and awesome.gizmoismogwai wrote:I had no clue that it would just wait for each pulse before moving to the next beat.
These are the ones I purchased. They are inexpensive and Chinese, but surprisingly well-made. I am certain you can get the same ones on Ebay in Europe: http://www.ebay.com/itm/6pcs-Piezo-Cont ... 1298692248Tarekith wrote:That's almost an entirely new way pf playing the electribe, very cool. What contact mics are those?
