E2 output sound colored? Seems awefully bright...

Post by yul_2000 »

Hello, I love the E2 even tough I also use a DAW and HW synths.

One thing I am noticing is that the default sounds are super bright in general to the point that it is causing me ear fatigue.

I am trying workarounds such as some LPF on the MFX which really seems to help although I lose the MXF for reverb.

Anyone notice this?

I know Korg and all the other majors are renowned for adding color (or perhaps sonic/harmonic maximizers?) to their output AFAIK.

Again this is a fantastic machine just trying to adjust it to my taste...

Any suggestions? Thanks!

I haven't noticed anything like that myself tbh, sorry.

Not much brightness gets past my cloth ears. Enjoy it while you can...
If I'm not listening to music, or if I'm not making music, then I'm probably thinking about music.

Volca Sample, FM, Beats, Kick. OP-1, Monologue, Pocket Operators. And an ipad.
