I thought I would share my new product with all of you.
These new "skiffs" are made for those who like to mod the volcas and need a better way to house the modifications.
They are made out of 1/2" oak and 1/8" aluminum and provide a nice solid base to work with.
Looks nice. Sort of what I am looking for, but my main issue is wire management. I wish it had some holes or something that can help hide the sync wires and such.
funny, i was thinking just now of doing something similar, but im planning on integrating into a briefcase for portablity/cool factor. also going to have some built in midi controllers dedicated to control the volcas (planning on adding a beats one to my sample.) and maybe another midi controller/sequencer to control my gameboy with mGB.
I'm hoping to have everything wired between the boxes internally so there aren't any hanging cables (or minimal cables, i really dont want huge DIN cables hanging there blocking the space) and have independent outs for the beats (based on a mod i saw somewhere)
anyways i just started thinking about this project today so there is still a lot of planning to do 9also gotta find me an old suitable briefcase, but i hope i can make this happen.
