Power up settings

Post by JimAA »

Is the SV-1 supposed to remember the power down state and restore it on power up?

If I select a favorite, turn off the SV-1, then power back on, it always comes up with some e.piano patch that has nothing to do with the favorite that was selected.

When you turn on the SV-1, it defaults to EPIANO1 Sound 1.

But how can you change that? this is ridiculous. I use the grand piano sound %99 of the time, I would like THAT to be the default.

It is possible to change the order of the internal sounds using the SV-1 editor running on a Mac or PC. See page 59 of the SV-1 editor guide downloadable from the Korg website.
