Midi connection to digital piano?

Trying to connect Kross to a Yamaha p255 5 pin midi. Em I suppose to change something in the global setup? When I play the Kross I can here a piano tone from the Kross though the p255 speakers but none of the other instruments, no combi or drums. Would like to use the p255 keyboard instead of the korg for inhouse play if that is possible? Thanks so kindly for your reply..

Thanks got everything setup perfect. Miss understood about what midi sends. So nice to have a nice 88 key board to use with the Kross 61 now. Thanks again n Happy Holidays to you all..
