using the krome editor in cubase

Post by michel1972 »

so i am trying to use the krome editor in cubase 8 32 bit. So when i load cubase and import an instrument track with krome editor as plug in, it does record sounds. But when i want for example a bass sound and a piano on top of that i can only do it by using combi mode. I remember when i had a yamaha i could load max 16 instances of the yamaha plug in and use 16 different sounds but with krome i can only load one instance so one sound or use combi mode and get 16 different sounds. Is there a way to load more instances of krome editor in cubase or any other daw to use the other 15 midi channels or is that impossible.

Ok let me answer my own question because i have seen this is not the way to go. Korg krome has got no audio interface like the yamaha so if i buy an m audio m track for example can i do the same with this. So i presume i use the audio interface as my vst plug in and use combi mode on the krome to use the 16 midi channels and separate them in cubase with the audio interface is that a solution any help would be great.
