audio player (ala Ableton Live)

I've just downloaded the Mcintosh AP1 audio player, and it looks and seems to sound great, but just in case I was wondering if there are any practical audio players for the Ipad2 where I could just play backing tracks and then play with my Kronos over them.

Moreover, I suppose you could have the audio of the Ipad run into the USB or audio input in the Kronos and have everything come together out of the main outs, right?
