Electribe 2 and Yamaha DTX Multi 12

Hello
Any experience trying to combine those two ?
I'd like to use E2 as a sequencer only which would trigg the DTX pads sounds
I tried with what I found on both Manuel but no way.
I just succed to start a patern of the DTX (song mode) from E2.
But did not succeed to:
Trig a sound of the DTX from the E2.
Play a sequence on E2 which would trigg DTX's sounds.
Could that work ?
Any idea ?
