MIDI Syncing Sequencer with Digital recorder for punch-In

Hey all,

I have MIDI lined up and working well from my TASCAM DP 24 from the beginning of the song, works like a champ. Problem is if I want to start from say bar 8 the PA 4X starts at bar one and DOES NOT SLAVE IN TIME.

My Triton Extreme still does that like a charm.

What am I missing?

I finally gave up after a full 6 hours trying to fix this...For anyone who may go through this as well, Paulo was so gracious to answer with the following.

Hi Steve,

Pa4X currently does not recognize, nor send, the Song Position Pointer. We are considering if adding it for a future update.---Paulo

I went to plan B, but this is a little irritating. Gotta have Song Position Pointer capabilities.

How are you guys doing this in DAW? And PA 3X owners, does the 3X have Song Pointer Position?

I too am having the same timing issue. You wondered if the PA3x is missing SPP and I have discovered today that it is NOT in the there. Very frustrating. Something so fundamental in this day and age. Sure hope KORG picks up on this.
