4 on the floor Techno............STOP!!

Post by petera25 »

Can we all be done with 4 on the floor techno????

Music has come a long way since marching music and polka. 4 on the floor techno is the same thing.

Humans learned how to syncopate for a reason!

It just stuck out at me while watching youtube videos for the new electribes.

Sorry.....feel free to hate on me :)

That is probably the most bizarre post i have read on this forum!!
If I'm not listening to music, or if I'm not making music, then I'm probably thinking about music.

Volca Sample, FM, Beats, Kick. OP-1, Monologue, Pocket Operators. And an ipad.

This is how it works: You have to actually earn my scorn before you receive my negative attention.

Pro tip: If you want to troll for a fight, try being proudly ignorant while you express a deeply unpopular opinion, and toss in a little racially charged language to get the lurkers involved.

Hey Ted3k, how's that Minilogue working for you?

This thread is doomed to have the same meaningful value as other threads such as "The Electribe 2 sucks" or "Korg failed to make me my dream Electron for $400!" or "Where are my 8 Bars, Korg?!".

"Can we all be done with 4 on the floor techno"...seriously? You might as well be singing that phrase in space! Nobody hears your screams.

Alright, that was my sarcastic input for this thread. Good luck, you all.

Damn! I seem to have struck a nerve. No disrespect intended.

I just think that s**t should be contained within Old Navy and arcades in suburban malls.

It's great! Sucking up all my free time. I'm having a lot of fun jamming' and programmin'. Big sound, lots of character. Poly is so fun to play. It also makes a mean mono. But I have not used it in any tracks yet.

I'm also trying to document it's various bugs on a few forums.

I've discovered if you point out a shortcoming, no matter how many times you say you actually like the thing, people will get mad at you.

I was almost going to give up on this forum because save for a few people interested in productive conversations or sharing actual music they make, the Electribe complaint train is somehow still chugging along almost a year later. But now that I know Korg is hiring comedians to start flame wars on here I see the value in sticking around for the laughs.
