MIDI playback on the Krome...

I created some instrumental scores using MuseScore and then imported the generated multi-track MIDI files into my DAW software; these files when played directly on the computer sounds great.

I have connected my DAW software to the Krome.
Next, I have tweaked the settings in my software for each track (Track - MIDI, Output to Yamaha MIDI Cable, Channel 1, 2...)
Next, I press play in my software.
The Krome starts playing.

However, I face a few problems.
Krome plays the instrument that is currently active; which is actually pretty cool, since I can now test out what the track might sound like when played on an instrument I did not intend it be played on.
Except for the channels set to 1, nothing else plays, and even that I haven't quite figured out which ones are actually playing -- when I set individual tracks to solo mode, some sound, and other don't.

I get the feeling that my MIDI settings on the DAW and/or Krome is not setup correctly. Any suggestions...

I figured this one out, however, there's a small gap in my knowledge...

How did I resolve this? After fidgeting around for a few minutes, I stumbled on the solution quite by accident.

Note: My DAW software is Magix Music Studio 2. which I plan to upgrade to Magix's Samplitude 2016.

Using the following steps:
- Krome: Using the options (left+top) I went into "Sequencer"
- DAW: I pressed play
- Krome: For each channel, I selected the appropriate instrument
- It works! I still need to tweak stuff on the Krome to get it right.

The gap part?
I can't get this thing to be saved so that I don't have to go thru the exercise all over again!
Which means, everytime I attempt to play the piece using Krome, I have to go back and do the setup all over again.
