Midi Thru

Hi,

quick question about the midi thru on the kronos. Does it by default pass any midi data from the input port to the thru port? does that include any midi data coming in via USB?

I'm using a KMI softstep 2 with my kronos, which is great for hands-less patch changing, pitch bending, vibrato, etc, but i want to pass it through on a different channel to my prophet. Can't find any part of the manual that talks about setting up the midi thru port.

any help would be appreciated.

Midi thru will pass midi data from the midi in port only, not from usb. Also there is no way to change the midi channel when passing midi through this way.
