does someone know when these little monsters are available in europe?

When I pre-ordered mine I was given an estimate of May 18-20th
And in fact my order still shows that.

But wherever I've checked, if you order one right now, they are saying
July 5th.

thanks. i almost thought that they are already available (europe), because everyone here seems like having one. but i can wait.

yeah, thought so too until I realized the sad truth :/

well, my patience took the better of me so I ordered one from a japanese ebay merchant. Ended ap costing quite a bit more though!

yes, ordering from japan would be quicker for shure. now the shops in europe expecting june for the release date. ;( but i will wait.

No harm in waiting - after import taxes etc, I ended up paing almost 100€ extra :(

But early next week it's here, need that volca fix hahah

nice!

just be careful when saving your fm sequences. You need to save both the patch and the sequence data, and if you're using specific transpositions, envs, arps and algorithm settings, also remember to motion record them all to the sequence and save the sequence. I've lost a few really cool Autechresque sequences because I forgt to do all this :(

I got mine from GAK today.

It's very nice, but the lack of MIDI note velocity is glaringly obvious.

I managed to jury rig a "MIDI pipe" to work around the omission for now.

EDIT: I've hacked together a simple Max4Live device that lets Ableton do the same.
