PA4X: COPY STYLE BANK TO USB

Post by donpatt »

I need Help! please,

I know how to copy and paste styles from a USB to the Keyboard. However, I can't figure out how to go in reverse???

I have 10 styles which I loaded into Favorite01 in the user section. Ho do I copy and save this as a bank file to my front USB?

Thanks in advance,

As in previous models also in Pa4x I think it is not possible to copy single styles or style banks from Pa4x to external mediums.

Each "Save" you do with single data results in creating a Korg-structured "Setfile" (default "Newset") with directory style / subdirectory user1 / single-style.

So save All/Styles/Favorite01 with your 10 single styles to a set - maybe newset.set/user01.sty - to USB to get user01.sty. Now connect your USB with PC (enable USB) and copy user01.sty to rootdirectory of your USB. Maybe rename user01.sty to my10Styles.sty and delete newset.set. Now you have my10Styles.sty as your style bank on USB.
kind regards
