Metal Sounds

Got the itch for some new sounds for the Kronos, I mostly play metal music and looking for new sounds. Not looking to spend a fortune though (max £200) as it's just to scratch the itch.

Does anyone know if native instruments can be ported across? I don't like the idea of having a laptop on stage and want to use my Kronos 2 in isolation if possible

When I played in a metal band I just made my own sounds. It's not really all that hard. It took me a while until I got a handle on it though. I'm sure you could do it too!

I do that too :p but it doesn't exactly scratch the itch of having a bunch of new toys to play with does it

You can sample your favorite NI sounds but you can't "port" the instruments like you would have, say, Massive available as an actual synth in the Kronos.

I'm not an expert on metal sounds, sorry. Have you checked out the Korg shop? Pretty much everything has audible demos and the sample collections you can install and play as demo.
