hi to all,i'm what you would call a computer idiot!hoping one of you more informed could hold my hand in regards to the process of downloaded the trinity factory preset sounds to my win8 asues computer. then then into the trinitro software then format it properly to go thru a iconnect4 midi device then to my trinity via midi to reboot it back to factory sounds. i'm told this is possible and would really like to learn how to do this, step by baby step!i've read the help section on the trinitro but its not specific enough for us dummies!i did download the zip file from korg and unzipped it and it seems i saw the patch names in the trinitro global tree but couldn't get it to download anything. i did all the idiot stuff you guys suggested in previous posts to no avail. i think i'm not initializing or directing something properly in the software chain. any help would be greatly appreciated.best regards,al.
p.s. reason i'm using this protocol is because i do not have a floppy drive and don't have the factory disk. like i said before a step by step of this method would be so helpful to many of us dummies!if someone is kind enough to step by step this midi download method ill put it on youtube and of course give credit where credit is due. thx again,al.[/b]

I cannot find any info on factory resetting the Trinity via MIDI.
External USB floppy drives are relatively inexpensive and would make it easier to reload the Trinity. Here is the Korg support page for downloading the necessary files:

Alternatively, Trinity preload floppy disks are being sold on eBay by sellers with 100% ratings, so likely to be reliable.
