Keys compare, Krome - PA 900 - PA 3XLe

Post by KroArp »

I visited the first and only Korg shop in my town.
I checked the keys of these 3 instruments :

Krome 61 - kinda flimsy, but acceptable for the price, maybe in a period of time they'll start to make small mechanical noise as some customers complained.

PA 900 - Good Keys. A little bit heavy, trusty. They should have put these on Krome, even with a price increase.

PA 3XLe ( PA 3X ) - The Perfect Keys. Weight feel (not like the 88 pianos ), with a lever-sensation in the middle. They should put these on all instruments, no matter the price increase.

Why do we - poorer customers - have to torment ourselves with feather-like keys, while the difference in price mainly accounts for the instrument electronic capabilities ?
I could compare all the instruments, but just an example for now : Kronos is a lot more powerful than Krome. The lists inside for example, are 3-4 times longer. Plus many other functions, vocal, Karma and fantastic knobs.
The price is EXACTLY 3 times higher ... It would seeem the very good keys were added to Kronos as a BONUS. Why didn't you Korg put a bonus to Krome too ?

I have an idea : Does Korg accept ( they should ) custom-made keyboards ?
I want a Krome with PA 900 Keys ... please !
