How are the 88-note keybeds these days?

Post by Tread »

I saw there were a few complaints here about the 88-note Krome keybeds a few years back, but these are now less frequent. Have these problems disappeared with the more recent models?

The hinge issue on my 73 key version is really annoying me, so I either switch to the 88 key version (allowing me to keep all my live patches) or switch to another brand.

(I do worry about using a Korg onstage. There seem to be endless reliability issues.)

The 88 note Krome keybed is what it always was. You probably see less commentary on it these days because it's not such a new instrument.

I have never had a reliability issue with any of my Korg 'boards (Krome 61, KingKorg, SV-1 88 ). they've been absolutely bulletproof. I do look after them well but I rehearse and gig with them regularly.
