im curious what lighting program(s) you use. im very close to running my electribe into ableton and out to freestyler, but it is just not coming together as fast as i thought it would. wondering what everyone else does. thanks for your time. chris

I'm currently not doing lighting, but when I was I used LightFactory. Not cheap, but not crazy expensive either, and you can "hire" it in 8 hour blocks. Runs for 30 minutes in demo mode, then needs a restart. Also there is a 5 min delay before emx becomes activated in demo mode, otherwise fully functional.

I was doing lighting for live bands though so mostly used tap tempo rather than midi, but you can assign just about any function to midi, I used a nano pad to change scenes and a nano control to control fx.
Korg gear I own:
electribes EA-1,ER-1,2x ES-1, EMX-1SD, ESX-1SD
DW 8000, Wavestation SR, KP3, Volca Beats, Keys MS 2000 R

Korg gear I've used extensively:
M1, Triton Pro-x 88, SG-1D, NanoPad, NanoKontrol

I run 3 Philips Hue bulbs in my studio, all connected to wifi and I use a phone app that controls them based on microphone / line input levels. It even has a strobe mode.
