Video if Style/Pad creation in Guitar mode ?
Hi All,
Anyone seen any video on creating a style/pad in Guitar mode ? If so could you kindly send us the link ? I'd like to create some new guitar pads & I find the manual difficult to follow. All details are given but I think there is some special technique required.
Thanks & Best Regards
Ewart

Nice video, but is not showing what notes you used and you skip entire section with Strumming Type, Arpeggios and RX Noises, which is most imported in Guitar Mode, is it what making guitar sounds realistic.
What you showing can be done in ACC mode, Gtr mode is more advanced.
In guitar mode you using extra notes (C1 to B1) to selecting a strumming type.
Octave from C2 to B2 is devoted to selecting a single string (or more than one) for playing arpeggios or power chords.
You can either play a free arpeggio with the six guitar chords assigned to the C~A keys, or play one of the faster sampled arpeggios on the higher keys.
The root note is always available on the C# key, while the fifth note is always assigned to the D# key; with them, you can always play the lowest notes of an arpeggio.
This octave also includes an all mute key (F#)
Programming Guitar Mode is a little advanced, but not to hard.
Is just adding extra notes with each velocity value dedicated for different chord shape.
On other hands is hard to make a video showing only in Event Edit adding values action without explanation why.
In manual on page# 45 (Pa600) or page# 203 (Pa300) is all info about.

here is video explain Guitar Mode.
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/35wuqV8ZVTs" frameborder="0"></iframe>
Is showing creating progression on external DAW, but this can be also done using Edit Event on Korg (RX Noise) and recorded on keyboard.
For 61 Key keyboard you need to move 1 octave down to access C1 key (by default starting from C2).
If =XiOXiS= video was be showing keys view, then all can understand.
Tip for new users.
Go to record new Pad, set Gtr mode and loop, set instrument (guitar) , move 1 octave down and try.
first octave is Strumming, second you need play , but is not like play notes, you play strings for chord was set up .
For RX Noise after recording you need go to Edit Event and Add note C0 with value from table showing in manual, where ? ..... is art, use your imagination, my suggestion right before played chord, use only with fretted chords.
Use Rx noise programming (note C0) to program position of strumming or arpeggios.
Ask if you got confuse .

Hello Nemik,
Nice to get a detailed explanations about this topic along with a helpful video.
Thank you for noticing the mistakes I have made in my video.
I forgot about showing the keys part. My bad!
But what I have created is correct! Right Nemik???
My focus was on the display (as you have seen in the video
)
I am very much sorry if my video misguided anyone who have read this topic.
I am pretty sure people who are having much knowledge won't be misguided.
I never meant to do that intentionally! As you might guess, I am still learning!
Chances for mistakes are high when we are learning something we don't know.
Learning will only become a fun experience when mistakes are realized and make it correct each and everytime. So, I will try to understand the concepts much more deeply.
My theory is to learn through practicals. The imagination that Nemik said, well! I would say it comes from your experience and experiments. So, what I learned from Nemik's reply is that I should spend time to check whether my practicals do relate to a theory!
Thank you Nemik.
The video you embedded to your reply is very much helpful.
Much Obliged!
NOTE : As an apology, I have removed my video from further viewing.

You did good =XiOXiS= , but for who never did this before is kinda useless.
You can edit video, add keys part as second screen and will be OK.
Guitar Mode is tricky, note C0 used velocity to control RX Noise, C1-B1 --> strumming mode and C2-B2 single Guitar string mode.
If you can make video showing screen and just C1-B1 and C2-B2 was be great.
I wish I have better camera to record, but my won't take good view on screen.
Maybe I do tutorial on website with pictures.... someday
If you wanna be part of my project PM me.

Thanks XioXis & Nimic
Unfortunately I was too late to view XioXis's video, it does not exist anymore. It's again unfortunate that I don't use any external DAW to try out Nimik's video - I've learnt the concept though !!
I've downloaded a few Youtube videos but they are not in English
It would be great if some Korg 'guru' were to create a demo video showing how to create different types of strumming techniques using the keyboard keys itself & then using the 'Edit Event' option to add more realistic sounds.
I hope Korg the company itself creates some more videos showing advanced techniques in style/pad creation because no matter how well the manuals are written there is nothing better than actually seeing it done !
Thanks anyway guys. Perhaps I need some more research !!

Tnx Ewartewart wrote:Hi Nemik,
WOW !! From whatever I could see at your site as of now - looks fantastic !!
The amount of trouble you are taking to record sounds from each key is very visible. I love the screen design.
Great job - keep it up !! I'm sure it will help a lot of newbies.

I try to make nice and clear, so everybody can understand.

Hello Nemik,
Hope you don't regret asking me that question
I could suggest many topics where your video tutorials will help other Korg PA users !
- Event Edit
- NTT (Printed page 200 [204 in Acrobat] PA300 manual)
- Step recording (not easy to understand from the manual)
- Most important !! I still haven't found any 'easy' 'free' ways to convert
styles from other keyboards to Korg PA series. Maybe a good video of this
procedure would help a great deal.
Hopefully this should be good enough for the time being.
Sorry for being so greedy.
Thanks & Best Regards
