Sure, all electribe2 extra filters are available online.legendaire51 wrote:Is it possible to download some ?

Just grab them from this link.
Cheers.

I think I may throw it back on the petition, as I agree with you and it would be nice to have additional filter options on the sampler.

My Gear:
Korg Electribe 2 Sampler, Keith McMillen Instruments K-Mix, Korg Volca Bass, Cyclone Analogic TT-303, Novation Ultranova, Roland System-1, Roland JP-08 Boutique, Roland SH-201, Focusrite Saffire PRO 14, Korg Gadget v3 on iPad Air, Reason 10 on ZenBook Pro

For shure it would be nice + all OSC models from the E2! And the E2 should have sampling!Z7A wrote:The petition will not even ask KORG to add all the filters to the sampler, because my request to do so was deemed "too specific".
Do you understand? This is the marketing of the E2 and E2S.. It will absolutely never happen. Korg is not stupid. They put it like this on the marked. With requests like this Korg is forced to discontinue one of the Electribes, do you think they will do?
And honestly: is this really a basic function which is sooo important? I guess if you guys ask for things like that, Korg just will smile. And I could understand them. Sorry.
honestly the multiple filter types is a good idea but the implementation was poor; I think the filter models on the E2 are over-hyped.sl23 wrote:I think it highly unlikely that Korg will add the filters to the E2S as it will weaken the selling point of the E2. This is one of it's few gleaming features.
the sound is not that warm /harmonic as I expected it to be.
from my recollection the esx filters were alot better

Yes, I also asked for an editor to make custom Analog OSCs only for the electribe2 and not the sampler. Then it would make sense and make it competitive against the Circuit.sl23 wrote:What else is there to purchase it for? The sound generator?
Also it is not just about the electribe alone. KORG is a brand, and they should care about how their customers perceive them and what they sell. If they would just give some Fuzz IFX and Warpdrive MFX or something it would show some good will.
true its defo a sales issue obviously Korgs decisions are marketing lead as opposed to being driven by users requirements sadly.sl23 wrote:You're right. But the premise remains. Korg won't add the E2's main redeaming feature to the E2S for the simple reason it will make the purpose of the E2 pretty much null and void! What else is there to purchase it for? The sound generator? Not really worth it when you can use any sound you want on an E2S!
but also the E2 has alot of unique waveforms and waveshaping gives a little bit more depth to the synth engine on the on the E2.

So, you've spent the last 11 years of your life whining and being bitter about features that 'should' be included but aren't. I'm surprised you're still 'supporting' korg with your purchases.sl23 wrote: I sent my draft to Korg in 2005 and NEVER heard a word from them. Disrespectful is my conclusion. I then sent it to Roland from whom I got a very good response and my only issue here was that I couldn't afford to patent the design. Several thousand pound when you're out of work is a lot of money!
I'm not picking on you or being mean, I just want you to realize that after 11 years of this you should know better by now.
You made an incorrect assumption that I've been bitter for 11 years. Not at all, in fact only since I purchased an e2 last year! That was the last straw.
.....
Oh, BTW, haven't supported them with my purchases as the emx was the last hardware unit I bought until recently. The esx and es ~1 I have were purchased off eBay second hand. I won't purchase bother korg product, they don't deserve my money.
