Kaoss Pad KP3 Won't Load Samples

I recently upgraded the firmware on my KP3 (KP3 Updater 2007) and now none of the one shot samples that were created with the old version and saved to my memory card will load on the unit. The sample locations are occupied, and I can select and load them, but I get the "Err" error message. I am able to create and load new samples, but the old samples are not working.

I've tried loading them into the KP3 Editor, and they won't load or play. Please help!!! Thanks!!!
