Can someone help me out here ?
Playing through MIDI to Cubase and Pro Tools - it seems that
C1,2,3,4.5.6. and E1,2,3,4,5,6 are louder than all the rest of the notes .....
Really bothersome when laying tracks ....
Although I have to go into my TRACK EDITOR - SELECT the notes and turn the volume down - I don't want to have to do this every time I lay a track.
Any help would be MUCH APPRECIATED ....
I've had this happen before on Keyboards after a year or so - but never BRAND NEW OUT THE BOX and NEVER the keys in this kind of pattern - it's always the keys I play the most that wear out the fastest.
THANKS IN ADVANCE ....
Oh ... I tested this out directly from the output of the keyboard itself - through the HEADPHONE JACK - so it's nothing to do with Midi or my Computer or Musical Software.
BRAND NEW KORG KROSS - several notes louder than the rest

Hi Bro,
are you recording audio od MIDI? If you had this issue before I would strongly suspect that the problem lies in your setup (soundcard, amp, mixer?)
To rule the Kross out I would record MIDI data ant try to play as evenly as possible. Then check the velocity data, if there is a obvious decline it might be something wrong with the keyboard mechanics or velocity sensors. If new you can still send it back.
