Mapping Seq Func Keys to Logic Pro (RECing Seqs into Logic)

I'm trying to re-record my sequencer compositions into Logic Pro X. Is there a way to map the record key of my Kronos to the record function in Logic?

I know there's option K to assign functions, but it doesn't seem to work for the sequencer buttons.

Also (I might ask this separately), what is best way to record a Kronos sequence as audio into Logic and perhaps also the midi for the midi tracks so that it's in synch? Right now I'm just soloing each track of the seq, pressing record in Logic, then play in Kronos and then trying to nudge the audio files manually.

I don't think the Kronos sends out anything upon pressing the sequencer transport controls. I would love to hear differently.
