need: 88-Key Controller. Studiologic ? ( for Pianoteq )

Post by Funky40 »

Hi,
i want to get a 88-Key Controller Board to play Pianoteq mainly.
I have and play a Kronos-X73. / happy with the Keybed.
I am size restricted on my Keyboardtable to the size of the Kronos plus some cm.
i have 127.5cm, so thats a main restriction here for now.
The Studiologic SL88 studio or Studiologic SL88 Grand would fit !
The here often mentioned Casio PX-5S Privia does not. And height is a factor too.

My main questions:
would you recommend one of the Studiologic Boards ?
is there a difference between the SL88-studio and the Studiologic SL88 Grand in how they feel ?
i like the feel and weight of the RH3 on my Kronos X ( last production batch )
i played today a Roland FA-08, same Board as the A-88, that one feels also very good, to give another reference. Felt quite similar to the Kronos in fact.

I´m mainly curious about the Studiologic units as they fit from size .
Really hoping that the 500€ SL88-Studio would do !...???

as mentioned in the title: its mainly for playing Pianoteq Pianos.
and: i might get something more real at a later stage.........

any Feedback on the studiologics and any comparisons ( subjective) are very welcome !
