Ned help to download new sound library for Kronos X

Post by Madgerabe22 »

I have attempted to download the KRS-04 ProSplits & Layers sound library into my Kronos X. After unzipping the file I followed the Korg directions and went to Disk, Utility, Copy, and Paste. Consequently a message appeared that said "illegal file description." What did I do wrong?

Need more details.

Did you download the wrong version? Perhaps the Mac version whereas you have a Windows PC?

I don't have access to the install directions.

To troubleshoot, make sure you have a clean USB stick that is Korg 32 formatted

Sometimes extra, non related files are on a USB and get in the way

KRS04 boils down to a single pcg file. No specific installation required. Just unzip on a pc and copy the pcg to the Kronos, and open / use the pcg like any other
