How to create a drum program?

I just want to be sure that I understand the process.

If I want to have all the drum kits available as programs, I need to go into program mode and erase a program.

I then select edit program.

On p1 screen ...

I then select drums under osc mode.

I then go to OSC basic and choose the drum kit.

I did this for all of the drum kits but I believe the original program setup is messing with the sounds.

I need to initialize the program. How?
